This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Torrance is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Torrance follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The food here used to be good but since then, they dropped their quality. I want to give them negative stars. Their description says that their name meaning “butcher” in Korean means that they only serve the highest quality meats which is now misleading. You can barely eat 5 pieces of meat without overloading on fat. One plate of brisket, a medium sized piece of ribeye, and 5 chicken finger-sized pieces of marinated short rib cost 87$. My stay was over an hour because our server took forever to come back and check on our meat. Not only that, but now some of the lights are flickering as if they cannot afford a 1 dollar light bulb from the Home Depot even though I know that they can. Also there is no roof and all the vents are dirty for some reason. The speakers are dangling from cords that swing when a gust of wind enters the building. There are random gas canisters on the walls in the corners of the building that seem to be rusting. One of my chopsticks was longer than the other. If the restaurant is busy, you can either wait outside on tiny stools or inside a hallway where the bathrooms are. And somehow, the price is still the same as it always was. Honestly, I have had better ste

I’ve been to a LOT of KBBQ spots over the years and Baekjeong genuinely blew me away. Like… the kind of meal you keep thinking about days later. Hands down one of the best KBBQ experiences I’ve ever had. We ordered the All Beef Combo and every single cut was incredible, but the boneless short rib completely stole the show. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was melt in your mouth good. Rich, buttery, perfectly marbled, insanely flavorful without feeling heavy. You know when food is so good it actually makes you pause for a second? That. What really stood out to me was the quality of the meat. You can immediately taste the difference. Everything tasted fresh, premium, perfectly seasoned, and cooked beautifully right at the table. The thin sliced brisket disappeared almost instantly, the ribeye was tender and flavorful, and every bite somehow kept getting better. Even the smokiness from the grill added to the whole experience in the best way. And honestly? Sometimes KBBQ places get hyped up online and end up being underwhelming or all aesthetic with mediocre food. This was NOT that. The hype is deserved. The flavors were bold, balanced, comforting, indulgent… all of it. Even the banc

Went there on Sunday night with my family for dinner. They are really busy so parking was full but if you wait little bit you can find one. Inside was less smoke than the other Korean bbq place. Food is excellent server while grilled the beef from the plate the beef marinated sauce was dripping in our other food. They need to be careful about this. The good thing about they cook for you. Service was okay Food was excellent. Atmosphere very crowded. They have a combo for $187 we ordered this one. Was good for 4 people..
